Agility Class Information
                                                            What is Agility?

Agility is a fun and exciting sport for both dog and handlers.  The sport consists of things the dogs must climb over, run through or weave around.  In competition the dogs are judged on how quickly they can accurately perform the numbered course.

You don't have to plan to compete to enjoy agility training with your dog.  Agility welcomes all healthy dogs whether purebred or mixed breeds, this sport has much to offer you.  Agility can help strengthen the bond with your dog by taking it to a new level through the teamwork it naturally develops.  Many insecure dogs gain confidence as they learn new skills and learn how to work through any fears.

Agility is a great "next step" for those who have taken obedience classes and would like something more to do with their dogs.
